At a young age I learned that anyone can have expressable ideas, ones that should be shared, rhyme scheme and meter make sure they are. We do not write poetry that rhymes to be childish or catchy. We write things that fit a form because it takes skill, so rhyming feels like a sieve through which great ideas must pass to be taken seriously.
